There are 2 ways to experience our Pre-school dance classes - one semester at at time, or a school year progression, with an on-stage Spring Recital Performance!
Mini Session Dance Classes
Mini Session dance classes meet once per week, throughout a specified time period, such as 12 weeks. These dance classes are designed to introduce dancers to a classroom setting while exploring dance in a creative and fun environment. Mini Session dance classes do not perform in our Spring Recitals but have the opportunity to perform for parents during classes. Summer classes are considered Mini Session.
Student Division Dance Classes
Enrollment closing soon! Our Student Division dance classes follow the school year, starting in September and ending in May. Each dance class meets once per week during the school year. We find this is the best way to build skills and confidence so we can present our dancers on stage and in costume during our Spring Recitals in May.
Tiny Tots Dance Class ages 2-3 Mini Session
Tiny Tots is a wonderful introduction to the world of dance focusing on getting toddlers to feel safe and confident attending dance class without their parents. Dancers work on developing large motor skills through fun and creative movements. This is a perfect start to dance!

Fairytale Ballet Dance Class ages 3-5 Mini Session
Each week dancers explore a new Fairytale and get to dress up! Fairytale Ballet dance class is structured to capture dancers imagination, while introducing them to the world of Ballet. Parents are invited in at the end of each class for a small performance and pictures!

Musical Theater for Kids…New Class Starting January 2025
Calling all future stage stars. This musical theater class is geared for ages 4 - 6. Last season we did Bushel and a Peck. This year our production is inspired by the Lion King.
Tuesday 4:00 - 4:30 Program runs January - May with a performance on stage.
Mini Hip Hop Dance Class ages 3-5 Student Division
This fast-paced, high energy dance class gets dancers moving to the beat of their favorite songs. Mini Hip Hop dancers explore rhythm, coordination and creative movement. Dancers develop confidence and a love for dance in our Mini Hip Hop dance classes that they get to showcase at our Spring recitals on May 4, 2024.

Pre-Ballet Dance Class ages 3-4 Student Division
Dancers ready for a more structured program will love our traditional PreBallet dance class where dancers receive an imaginative introduction to ballet movements and terminology. Dancers will develop creative movements, musicality and body awareness to show off at Spring Recitals! Classes begin Sept. 11

At Kehl, our pre-school age dance classes implement the Discover Dance program. We use concepts like Place, Size, Levels, Directions, and more to enhance our lessons beyond just the average dance class. Props, stories, and other dance activities are used to create a strong foundation and clear understanding on the basics of dance. This foundation will set your dancer up for success in dance training for years to come!
