Dancers have prepared for this day for months and can’t wait to perform for you! Here are some tips to make the day perfect:
Plan to arrive 30 - 40 minutes prior to the start of the show.
Come to the show with hair and make-up ready to go on-stage.
Have your costume, tights, accessories, and shoes in one of our clear GARMENT BAGS. They are for sale at every studio.
Discover a run in your tights? Tights will be available for sale at the Welcome desk at rehearsals and recitals… just in case.
During the Show
Once the show begins, cell phones and cameras must be stowed away. For a small fee, you will have access to all of the shows, professionally recorded.
We line up in the changing area and we ask that dancers are there at least 8 numbers before they go on stage. A Kehl team member will escort each class from the dressing room to the stage. We escort dancers back to the changing area after their dance is done.
If your dancer needs changing assistance, plan to meet them back in the changing area. Our team members are there primarily to supervise and escort dancers to and from the stage.
Sorry dads, only women and girls are allowed in the girls changing area. Please notify a Kehl team member if your dancer needs help in the girls changing area. Boys will have their own changing area. Signs will be posted to help dancers and parents find their way.
Space is VERY limited back stage. Therefore, parents not allowed in the backstage area.
After the Show
Each show ends in a final bow of all dancers who wish to participate. Kehl team members will then escort the dancers back to the changing area where you can pick them up and collect all of your belongings.
